Student Clubs and Activities
Network, Give Back, and Have Fun!
In or out of the classroom, you’ll never stop having fun and learning at SCC. Campus life thrives with clubs and professional organizations for students. Our Student Life Office hosts regular events and activities for fun and engagement. Whether at the Student Hub or out on the Campus Green, you’re sure to see students interacting with one another and having a blast!
Why join a club or organization? Because you learn just as much from experiences outside a classroom as you do in one. Not only will your resume reflect your commitment and involvement, you'll also make a difference in the lives of others, make new friends, and have a blast! Learn more about clubs and organizations at SCC in your SCC Student Planner & Handbook (View or Download PDF) or email studentlife@sccsc.edu. Some of the offerings include: American Sign Language Club, Chasers of God-Gospel Choir, National Technical Honors Society, Phi Theta Kappa, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Call Me MiSTER Program.
SCC's Student Life office encourages students to give back through community service. Walk with us in the March of Dimes March for Babies walk, pack Bags of Love for children in need, collect toiletry items for local family shelters and more. Learn more about specific opportunities by emailing studentlife@sccsc.edu.
There's always something going on in a vibrant town like Spartanburg, and SCC can connect students with events and activities in the community. Outdoor activities through the Spartanburg Parks Department, Black History Month, plays, concerts and more are encouraged for student involvement. Be sure to check your MySCC Portal and the SCC website home page for events listings involving SCC and partners.
