Dear Chasers,
Spartanburg Community College is the fastest growing college in one of the fastest
growing regions of the fastest growing state in the country! South Carolina has recently
been recognized as the number one state for manufacturing, one of the best places
to do business, and our Chasers are proud to be delivering the fuel for this engine
of success.
As our region continues to grow in terms of investment we understand that the limits
to growth depend on our unique capacity to build upon and further enhance our workforce
development initiatives.
Spartanburg Community College is proud to spearhead workforce development efforts
in our region, and we have built, and continue to perfect, a robust infrastructure
to launch new innovative workforce development initiatives that will continue to propel
our College to the forefront during this time of shifting economic supply and demand.
At the heart of our role as the single greatest contributor to the local workforce
in the communities we serve is our focus on student success and continual improvement
at all levels of the College. Each individual Chaser that we educate and train has
