Spartanburg Community College Announces Return of “Live to Chase” for 2026-2027 Academic Year
Spartanburg, S.C. — Spartanburg Community College (SCC) is proud to announce that the successful Live to Chase Initiative will return for the 2026-2027 academic year, ensuring eligible students once again have access to full-tuition scholarships through the program.
What Live to Chase Offers
- Full tuition scholarships for qualifying students enrolled in qualifying credit-bearing certificate or degree programs at SCC (after any grants, scholarships, or financial aid are applied).
- Students remain responsible for non-tuition costs such as books, supplies, lab fees, and other program-specific fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2026-2027 Live to Chase program, students must:
- Live or work full-time in South Carolina.
- Be enrolled in one of SCC’s eligible credit-bearing certificate or degree programs.
- Take at least six credit hours per semester.
- Maintain a GPA of at least 2.2.
- Complete the federal financial aid application (FAFSA) for the relevant academic year.
