Dual Enrollment: Building Futures Early
College Starts Sooner Than You Think
For hundreds of students across Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties, college isn’t a far-off dream—it’s happening right now. SCC’s Dual Enrollment program allows eligible high-schoolers to earn college credit while completing their diplomas, saving time and money on the path to a degree.
Learning That Counts Twice
Whether students take courses on their high-school campus, online, or at an SCC location, each credit brings them closer to career or university goals. Participants gain early exposure to college expectations, develop self-discipline, and build confidence that carries far beyond graduation.
Partnerships that Empower
Through collaborations with local school districts and initiatives like TEACH Spartanburg, SCC helps students explore education pathways and prepare for high-demand careers—including early childhood education, healthcare, business, and technology.
“Our Dual Enrollment students aren’t waiting for opportunity—they’re creating it.”
An Early Investment in Success
Dual Enrollment exemplifies SCC’s mission of access and affordability, giving high-school students a head start on their college dreams while strengthening the regional workforce pipeline.
