The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is a revered tradition that signifies the transition from student to professional nurse. This occasion honors the graduates of the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs for their dedication and achievement.
Associate Degree in Nursing Ceremony: 10:00 AM
Practical Nursing Ceremony: 2:00 PM
During this ceremony, graduates will receive their Nursing pin, a symbol of their commitment to the nursing profession. They will also participate in the Lamp of Learning lighting, a tribute to Florence Nightingale’s enduring legacy of knowledge, compassion, and service.
The event will conclude with the recitation of The Nightingale Pledge, an ethical declaration that underscores the principles of professionalism, compassion, and unwavering dedication to patient care.
Family, friends, faculty, and staff are invited to join in celebrating this significant milestone in the lives of our nursing graduates.
