SCC Hosts Discover SCC Open House Saturday 3/26

Spartanburg, SC - Spartanburg Community College will host a Discover SCC Open House event on Saturday, March 26 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the SCC Giles Campus in Spartanburg. The event is free and open to students, parents, and career seekers interested in SCC's academic programs, all of which are available tuition-free for the 2022-2023 academic year.
"Discover SCC is a great opportunity to see our beautiful campus, gain insight into our academic programs from faculty members, and learn about the many opportunities available to anyone interested in attending college, learning new skills, or changing careers," explains Travis McDowell, Director of Community Outreach at SCC. "Why SCC? Attend Discover SCC to find out!"
Guests will enjoy light refreshments and be eligible for door prizes, including SCC t-shirts.

Information about SCC's Technical Scholars Program will also be available to event guests. The Technical Scholars Program is a unique opportunity that allows students to work part-time while attending classes full-time at SCC. Students gain hands-on experience and become viable candidates for full-time positions at BMW, Michelin, and other participating companies.
