Testing Procedures for SCC Students at Off-Campus Sites
Any SCC student who would like to test off campus must first receive permission from
their instructor(s).
After receiving permission from his/her SCC instructor(s), the student must:
1. Contact the testing administrator of the institution at which he/she would like to
test. Make sure you get the following contact information: Contact Name, Contact Number,
and Email Address. (Any fees charged for testing are the responsibility of the student.)
2. Student completes the Student Request for Testing Offsite FormSCC Student Request for Testing Offsite Form and emails it to proctor-e3@sccsc.edu.
3. Upon receipt of the completed form, SCC Testing Center will send the Proctor Contract
Form to the proposed testing institution.
4. Institution completes and returns form to SCC Testing Center at proctor-e3@sccsc.edu.
5. The SCC Testing Center will email the student/instructor with the necessary contact
information when the approved Proctor Contract Form is returned.
6. Instructor sends testing materials to the off-campus proctoring institution with specific
return instructions.
7. Student contacts proctoring institution to set up a testing date and time that is
within the guidelines set by SCC instructor.
8. The SCC student presents a valid picture ID to the off campus testing proctor prior
to testing.
9. Once test is administered, the non-SCC testing proctor returns all testing instructions
and all exam materials directly to the SCC instructor.
