MySCC Portal Instructions

  • Once you have submitted your SCC application, follow these instructions to access your MySCC Portal account and set up your SCC email.

    Your MySCC Portal account contains access to your student email (Office 365) and registration, financial information, grades, etc. (WebAdvisor). This is also where you access Desire2Learn (D2L) for online courses.

    To log into your MySCC Portal account -

    1. Locate the MySCC Portal link in the upper right hand corner of the webpage in the blue header. 
    2. Retrieve your username by clicking on the “Need Your Web ID” link. Enter your last name and social security number or SCC student ID number (located on the back of your college ID card) to retrieve your username.
    3. Then enter your username and your password to log into the portal. The first time you log in, your password is the last six digits of your social security number.

    To access your SCC email (Office 365) account -

    1. You can access your email account 24 hours after you have submitted your application and paid the application fee. 
    2. Go into your MySCC Portal account. 
    3. Click the "Unread Messages" link in the first column, and select the "Enter Your Credentials" option.
    4. Sign in with your organizational account, which is your email address (, see step 2 in above instructions for accessing MySCC Portal account), and your password which is the last six digits of your social security number.
    5. You will be redirected to another page where you need to log-in using the same name/password, then select "Sign In."
    6. Select "Outlook" link (near top of page) to enter your language and time zone.
