Spartanburg Community College and Partners for Active Living have joined forces to promote bicycling in Downtown Spartanburg thanks to the addition of a sixth bike sharing location and 11 new BCycles at SCC's Downtown Campus. An announcement showcasing the new BCycles will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 11:00 am at the campus BCycle pad.

"We are excited about our partnership with PAL and the opportunity to encourage those who live, work and play in downtown Spartanburg to utilize the new BCycles to cruise around town" explains Henry C. Giles, Jr. SCC president. "The 11 bikes are available for anyone to enjoy - SCC students, Denny's employees and those in the area who need transportation or just want to spend time biking in our beautiful downtown."

Joining Pres. Giles at the announcement will be Laura Ringo, PAL executive director and John C. Miller, Denny's chief executive officer and president. Following a brief program, Giles, Ringo, Miller and other guests will showcase the new BCycles via a bike parade around the SCC Downtown Campus.
