Please join us as we welcome gardening experts Peggy Cornett and Aaron Bertelsen.
Plant Curator for Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson
Peggy has worked at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello for over thirty-five years. In 2016 she received the Garden Club of America’s Zone VII Horticultural Commendation for her horticultural expertise, generosity in sharing knowledge, and dedication to preserving Thomas Jefferson’s botanical legacy.
Horticulturalist for Great Dixter Gardens in England
Aaron manages the vegetable garden at Dixter, and will discuss his second book, “Grow Fruit and Vegetables in Pots”. The book champions growing produce from pots, a developing trend in small and home gardening.
