Are you confused about all of the social media platforms that are out there? This course will help you understand the historical and technical origins of social media and all of the terms that go with it. Learn to use multiple forms of social media, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Analytics, QR codes and cloud-computing in a professional manner. You will create at least one product demonstrating the use of social media in the preparation for entering or participating in the digital workplace. The cultural aspects of the use of social media tools, include user ages, race, ethnicity, socio-economic standing and languages are explored. Some previous experience is helpful but not necessary.
