So now you're a CNA and you might ask what is next? One avenue you can travel down is becoming a Medication Technician. In this class you can broaden your skillset by adding a certification that will make you more knowledgeable and marketable. As a medication technician you will learn how to dispense medications in a long term care or home health setting. You will learn the proper ways to administer medications as well as the legal regulations that govern this aspect of healthcare. Students must register in-person at Corporate & Community Education in the Tracy Gaines Building, Room G17 and present documentation of your Certified Nursing Assistant training.
