Are you passionate about craft beer? Do you want to learn how to brew your own beer, or become a better homebrewer? This class will teach you about the different types of beers, the characteristics, and the best seasons to brew. You will learn about the qualities to look for when selecting your main ingredients and additives, the pros and cons of beer kits, recipes, the essential equipment needed and sanitation, and lean the hands-on techniques in boiling, fermentation, testing, bottling, and sanitizing. 50 bottles of craft beer will be produced in class and evenly divided among the number of participants to take home. Price includes course materials. You must be 21 years or older to participate in this class.
