This National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program will provide you with the basic skills necessary to work in both the construction and trades environments. Completion of this course is required before taking additional NCCER trade specific programs. Key content includes: Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Construction Drawings, Basic Rigging, Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills, and Material Handling. Tuition includes the NCCER Core Curriculum book, hard hat, safety goggles, safety gloves, and ear protection devices.
