Scott and Spartanburg Community College are partnering to host a Veterans' Educational & Entrepreneurship Resources Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27 at SCC's Tyger River Campus located at 1875 E. Main St. in Duncan.
More sessions are scheduled for St. Matthews, Beaufort, Florence, Conway and Charleston this month and into February.
The workshop is designed to bring together members of the military community and human resources professionals in order to connect veterans with resources. Some scheduled topics include: “What employers want,” “Transitioning from the military to the civilian workforce,” “Best practices for job interviews,” “Resume critiques” and “Resources to help pay for college.”
