Intermediate Injection Molding

 

Course Information


The Intermediate Class for Plastics Injection Molding is a hands on curriculum that illustrates the construction of an injection molding process through scientific methods and mathematic calculations. After completing the class, the student will be able to fabricate a process for an injection mold from scratch and supply the appropriate process documentation to record the results. Further exposure to the Engel CC300 Controller will facilitated through lab demonstrations while also using tools of the injection molding trade. An introduction to statistical tools for troubleshooting and root cause verification will also be explored. This is an in depth study for students who are pursuing a technical career in the injection molding field.
