  • Things you should know about SCC Corporate & Community Education

    Please read the following information carefully before completing SCC Corporate & Community Education Registration.

    1. Cost/Tuition Fees:

      CCE Tuition fees must be paid in full when registering for a class. A 2% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card transactions.

    2. Refund Policy:

       If you cannot attend a course as planned, you must notify Spartanburg Community College Corporate & Community Education Division in writing at cceinfo@sccsc.edu or by phone, 864-592-4900, at least (2) business days prior to the first day of class in order to receive a full refund.  No other refunds will be issued.  Spartanburg Community College reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, instructors when necessary.  Full tuition will be refunded if courses are cancelled by Spartanburg Community College.
    3. Transfer Policy:

       If you cannot attend a course as planned, transfers can only be made by contacting Spartanburg Community College Corporate & Community Education Division at 864-592-4900 a minimum of (2) business days prior to original class start date.  No other transfers or refunds will be allowed.
    4. Inclement Weather:

      Listen to your local radio station, TV station, or visit our website. Decisions will be made for day classes by 6 a.m. and for evening classes by 3 p.m.
    5. Where Classes Meet:

      Confirmations will be sent via email and will include directions to the appropriate campus at Spartanburg Giles Campus, Tyger River Campus in Duncan, Cherokee Campus in Gaffney, Spartanburg Downtown Campus or Union County Campus.
    6. Books and Supplies:

      The cost of textbooks and supplies for most CCE courses is NOT included in the registration fee. Most books and supplies are available at the SCC Book Inn in the Dan Lee Terhune Student Services Building. If you are unsure about your books and/or materials, contact our office at (864) 592-4900 or email at cceinfo@sccsc.edu.
    7. Ways to Register:

      Online:
      You can register online by visiting our home page then select the category of your choice for a list of the classes available.

      In Person:

      Corporate & Community Education is now located at Tyger River Campus, Office 123.

      By Phone:

      Use your Visa/MC/Discover/American Express to register at (864) 592-4900 or toll free 1-(877)-592-4408. A 2% convenience fee will apply.

       

    8. Senior Citizen Policy:

      Any legal resident of South Carolina, age 60 and older, may attend select community interest Corporate & Community Education Division classes on a Space Available Basis* without payment. This applies only if the class has reached its minimum enrollment and has spaces available. NOTE: certification/licensing courses, vendor agreement courses and authorized training center courses do not apply.

          *Space Available Basis. Those wishing to take advantage of this policy must wait to register until the work day before the class begins. Registering with payment is the only way to guarantee your space in class. if you choose to register with payment, you are no longer eligible for the Senior registration policy and the normal transfer and refund policy would apply.
