Special Admissions

  • Not Pursing a Degree? We are Here to Help...

Special admissions apply to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and wish to enroll in classes to improve skills but do not wish to pursue a degree, diploma or certificate. If a special student decides to enroll in a curriculum program, all regular admissions requirements must be met. Special students are not eligible to receive financial aid or VA benefits.

    Other Types of Special Admissions

    • Transient students - If you are currently enrolled at another college and wish to take courses at SCC for the purpose of transferring the credit hours back to the home institution, please see specific information for transient students.
    • International Students - Please see specific information for international students.
