Your success is our main concern while you are a student at SCC. The SCC Advising Center is your resource for academic advising and beyond.
Our academic advisors will make every effort to:

Ensure appropriate course placement

Recommend courses each semester prior to registration

Approve course schedules and drop/adds per SCC policy

Provide information regarding updates and/or changes to your academic program

Assist with possible referrals when experiencing academic challenges/conflicts
- Provide computer training on schedule development and class registration
- Offer "how-to" guidance to students such as:

Apply for Financial Aid
- Review SCC Orientation Online - an overview of SCC student services, processes and contact information to guide new students, and act as a valuable resource to all students.

After completing steps 1-3, visit the Academic Advising Center if the following pertains to you:

Placement evaluation into any 031-032 level course

First-time associate of arts or associate of science student
