This two-session class is for riders with a minimum-to-moderate amount of riding experience but no previous training. You will learn the accident avoidance skills required for street riding plus slow-speed tight turning and other slow-speed techniques. Good clutch and throttle control is a must. You must have held a current motorcycle learner's permit for at least 60 days. You must also provide a street legal, insured and fully registered motorcycle. Successful completion of the course makes you eligible for an insurance discount. Requirements: . DOT approved full or open-face helmet (half helmets are prohibited) . Eye protection . Full-fingered gloves . Long sleeves or jacket . Long pants (non-flair denim or equivalent material) . Footwear that covers the ankles (low heel) .
