This course consists of Dialysis training and American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR training for the Healthcare Provider. This course is designed to teach the basics of renal failure and renal replacement therapies including hemodialysis. You will learn the integral role that the Dialysis Technician plays in the everyday care of the dialysis patient, how to perform labs, draw blood, and operate kidney dialysis machines. An internship in a dialysis clinic is available at the completion of the program. Students may register and pay online or you may register and pay in-person at Corporate & Community Education in the Tracy Gaines Building, Room G17.
