SCC American Heart Association Training Center

  • Spartanburg Community College announces the opening of the American Heart Association Training Center.

    The American Heart Association is the global industry leader in research and setting the standards for Emergency Cardiovascular Care. As an American Heart Association certified training center, SCC will provide AHA certified instructors. Classes will be conveniently located at each of the SCC campus locations.

    Classes included Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and recertification classes, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and HeartSaver CPR for the public certification classes.

    Current Class Offerings:

    Basic Life Support/CPR

    If you need Basic Life Support CPR/AED for adult/child/infant for job in the healthcare field or for a healthcare provider related school program (adult, child, infant), this class satisfied all school programs and employee requirements.

    Healthcare providers/students will learn Basic Life Support according to American Heart Association standards. This includes adult, infant, child CPR, and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

    BLS book is available at the campus Book Inn and must be brought to class. This is a requirement from the American Heart Association.
