Curriculum
Program Description
Maintenance and Light Repair students learn theory of operation and diagnosis/repair of Ford automotive brake, electrical, air conditioning, steering and suspension systems.

Practical Experience
Students gain experience and skills needed to perform regular maintenance, minor repairs, and parts installation on Ford automobiles and light trucks. Specifically, students would gain skills and earn Ford Certification in brake systems, climate control systems, steering & suspension systems, and basic electrical systems.

Unique Aspects
Students must complete this certificate program prior to being accepted into the Ford ASSET program. Certificate graduates may transfer into the Ford ASSET program with advanced standing. Graduates earn 25% of Ford STST (Service Technicians Specialty Training) credentials.
