Course Information


This National Center for Construction Education and Research NCCER program will provide you with the basic skills necessary to work in both the construction and trades environments. NCCER Core is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Key content includes Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Construction Drawings, Basic Rigging, Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills, and Material Handling. Completing this curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses. Tuition includes the NCCER Core Curriculum book, hard hat, safety goggles, safety gloves, ear protection and testing. Upon completion of this program, you will receive a certificate from NCCER, a wallet card, and be listed in the NCCER National Registry.
