Course Information


This 64 hour course is designed to prepare students for electrocardiogram performances and procedures. Electrocardiogram ECG technicians use special equipment and medical techniques to record the electrical impulses transmitted by a patient s heart. Data acquired by electrocardiogram technicians assists physicians and cardiologists in diagnosing medical conditions in patients. ECG Technicians are typically employed in hospitals, private cardiology clinics, and laboratories. Course Description With this course you will learn the anatomy and physiology of the heart, how to interpret and record heart rhythms, and how to place and interpret a twelve lead ECG. Successful students will be eligible to sit for the NHA ECG Certification Exam. Cost 1,075.00 Includes textbook and NHA Certification Exam Fee.
